This cheerful Sunshine Shape Sorter puts a sunny twist on a classic educational toddler toy, helping little ones build essential early years skills through hands-on play. Designed to encourage exploration, matching and counting, it supports learning from every angle.
Each of the friendly sun’s five rays features a different colour and shape, inviting children to match each ray to its correct slot. This simple but engaging activity supports early shape recognition and colour matching skills.
The shape sorter also introduces early counting, with numbers printed on the front of each ray and matching quantities of shapes on the reverse. For example, ray number five features five star shapes, reinforcing number recognition and one-to-one correspondence.
As children place the rays into the sun, they strengthen essential fine motor skills including grip strength, dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Perfect for independent play or guided learning at home.
